Here’s an excerpt:
The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 40,000 times in 2015. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 15 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

Last night we had the privilege of participating in SafePath’s Good Eatin’ Great Cause fundraiser. More than 30 of Georgia’s top chefs participated in the event, including the Crooked Tree Cafe’s own Chef Jeff Haeger! Chef Jeff served up his delectable brisket grilled cheese, and it was a huge hit with everyone!
Along with the tasty samplings from well-known chefs, attendees also got to watch a great cooking competition between Cobb County Police Chiefs, the Cobb County District Attorney’s office, Cobb County Sheriff’s department and the Marietta Fire Department. The event was hosted by Ryan McKay, a two-time winner of the Good Eatin’ Great Cause Competition and a recent contestant on NBC’s Food Fighters.
SafePath Children’s Advocacy Center, Inc. is a private 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children who have been abused. SafePath’s mission is to reduce the trauma to children and their families by offering a comprehensive, professional, and child-friendly approach to the allegations of child abuse. SafePath ensures a less traumatic, child-focused approach to child abuse cases by bringing together professionals from law enforcement, the district attorney’s office, therapists, healthcare professions, DFACS, and other agencies, to all work together as a collaborative team.
SafePath provides unique services for children in our community. While other entities provide food, shelter and other physical assistance to families in need, SafePath focuses on lessening the trauma experienced by innocent victims of abuse, both children and their non-offending caregivers. SafePath understands and strives to prevent the initial trauma from being compounded by the system designed to investigate, prosecute and prevent future abuse.
